Saudi Arabia to Host 4th Global AI Summit in 2026

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is sponsoring the fourth Global AI Summit, which will be organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The event will take place from September 15 to 17, 2026, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.

The event will bring together top government leaders, international policymakers, major technology CEOs, and experts, innovators, and researchers in data and artificial intelligence from around the world.

SDAIA President Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi thanked the Crown Prince for his ongoing support, saying it has played a key role in helping Saudi Arabia achieve leading positions in global technology rankings. Trending: Beast Land opens in Riyadh Season 2025

The 2026 summit continues the progress made in previous meetings held in Riyadh in 2020, 2022, and 2024. Those events included high-level participation and led to important global initiatives and agreements. One major result was the creation of the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), launched under UNESCO’s patronage and based in Riyadh to support worldwide AI ethics standards.

Saudi Arabia is proving it can pull off the hosting of major international events, and this summit is a stepping stone toward the country's larger objective of creating a sustainable economy.

It also illustrates that Saudi Arabia is now a major player in the global AI industry, helping to influence the future of advanced technology, promote new ideas, and solidify its status as a global center for artificial intelligence. Most Viewed: Procedure to verify your Saudi visit visas online
