Saudi Arabia Unifies LPG Cylinder and Central Gas Prices From January 1, 2026



The National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) has said that the cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used in home gas cylinders and central gas tanks will be the same all over the country. The new prices will start on January 1, 2026, and it  will be the same in all parts of Saudi Arabia.

Under the new pricing system, the 11-kilogram LPG cylinder will be sold for SR26.23, while the 5-kilogram cylinder will cost SR11.93.

For central gas systems, GASCO set the filling price at SR1.1770 per liter. The company confirmed that all prices include transportation expenses and value-added tax (VAT), with no additional charges. Trending: Saudi Arabia introduces new 4-tier excise tax on sweetened beverages

Goal: Reduce Regional Price Differences

GASCO said the decision aims to equalize gas prices nationwide and eliminate regional price differences. The move also seeks to improve the quality and consistency of LPG services provided to households and facilities.

The company said that the uniform pricing strategy shows how it sees itself as a national partner that helps with development and economic integration while also encouraging justice and openness in important energy services.
