Saudi Arabia Deportation Update: 14,206 Violators Deported in One Week
Saudi Arabia arrested 22,094 illegal residents in the past week. The Ministry of Interior said on Saturday that these arrests came from joint inspections by security forces and other government agencies between November 13 and November 19.
The arrested people included:
➤ 13,750 violators of the Residency Law
➤ 4,781 violators of the Border Security Law
➤ 3,624 violators of the Labor Law Read: Saudi Arabia cracks down on Illegal taxis
During this period:
🔘 14,206 violators were deported.
🔘 21,856 people were sent to their embassies to get travel documents.
🔘 4,555 were referred to complete their travel bookings.
A total of 1,867 people were caught trying to enter Saudi Arabia illegally. Of these, 34% were Yemeni, 65% Ethiopian, and 1% from other nationalities. Another 29 people were arrested for trying to leave the Kingdom illegally.
Authorities also arrested 32 people who were involved in transporting, sheltering, or employing violators.
Currently, 30,055 expatriates (including 28,469 men and 1,586 women) are undergoing procedures to apply legal actions against them. Recommend: Madina welcomes 3.7 million visitors in Q2 of 2025
The Ministry of Interior warned that anyone who helps illegal residents—by bringing them into the country, transporting them, sheltering them, or offering any assistance—can face up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to SR 1 million, and the confiscation of vehicles or homes used in the violation.
The ministry urged the public to report any violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 or 996 in all other regions of the Kingdom.
