Saudi Arabia lifts all Precautionary and Preventive measures related to Corona virus including Wearing masks and Tawakkalna except in few cases
The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia announced that, it is decided to lift the most of the precautionary and preventive measures related to corona pandemic, including wearing of masks and Tawakkalna application, with the following
1. No need to wear face mask in closed places, with the exception in the Makkah's Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in Madina and in the places for which protocols issued by the Public Health Authority (Weqaya).
- Wearing of masks may required to enter the facilities, activities, events and means of public transportation that wishes to apply higher levels of continuity of protection with requiring wearing of a mask to enter it, with continuation of raising awareness and urge its use. 2. Immunization and verification of health status in Tawakkalna is no more required to enter facilities, activities, events, boarding planes and public transportation, except for those whose nature requires immunization, or continuing to verify health status as per the Public Health Authority (Weqaya) requirements, or where they wish to implement higher level of protection by continuing to require immunization or verification of health status to enter them.
3. The duration of the requirement to take 3rd booster dose of Corona vaccine to leave the Saudi citizens outside the Kingdom is 8 months instead of 3 months from receiving the 2nd dose, with the exception of age groups specified or exempted by the Ministry of Health as per their status appears in Tawakkalna.
