Saudi Arabia: TGA Urges Residents to Activate National Address Before 2026 Deadline

Saudi Arabia’s Transport General Authority (TGA) is asking all customers and delivery service users to activate their national address as soon as possible. This will help ensure fast and accurate delivery of all parcels before the new rule becomes mandatory in early 2026.

The TGA previously announced that starting January 2026, parcel delivery companies must only accept or deliver shipments that include a verified national address. Read: Saudi Arabia announces 500 riyals fine for failing to submit beneficial owner information

This new requirement is part of a larger plan to improve the delivery sector, increase efficiency, and raise the overall quality of services for all users.

According to the TGA, this decision is an important step to improve customer experience, speed up delivery times, and reduce the need for extra calls or communication between couriers and recipients.

The authority also highlighted that using a verified national address will help delivery companies work with better accuracy and smoother operations when processing parcels.

Residents can view, update, or verify their national address through four official digital platforms:

➤ Absher

➤ Tawakkalna

➤ Sehhaty

➤ SPL (Saudi Post’s S+ address system)

The TGA urges everyone living in Saudi Arabia to make sure their national address is updated and activated before the 2026 deadline. See Also: Two Saudi brothers battle in court for the right to care of their mother
