Saudi Arabia Launches Fourth Phase of Domestic Worker Salary Transfer via Musaned Platform
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has started the fourth phase of its electronic salary transfer service for domestic workers. This service, available through approved official platforms, begins on Wednesday, October 1.
The goal of this initiative is to protect the salary rights of domestic workers and make the relationship between employers and employees more transparent. Trending: Saudi Arabia launches initiative to correct absconding status
In this phase, the program applies to employers who have two or more domestic workers. Earlier phases were introduced step by step:
➤ The second phase (January 2025) included employers with four or more workers.
➤ The third phase (July 2025) covered employers with three or more workers.
➤ By January 1, 2026, the service will cover all domestic workers.
The salary transfer is done through the Musaned platform using official methods like digital wallets and participating banks.
Main benefits of the service include:
➤ Recording regular salary payments to workers.
➤ Making it easier to complete official procedures when contracts end or when workers travel.
➤ The policy allows for safe and official money transfers to workers' families in their home countries. Most Viewed: Saudi Arabia approves Visitor ID to open bank account
