The ministry shared this information in its Consumer Protection Bulletin for the third quarter of 2025. The report highlighted key actions and efforts to fight commercial fraud, combat e-commerce and business cover-ups, and stop other commercial violations.

According to the bulletin, inspection teams continue to carry out regular visits to detect and stop fraud and commercial cover-up activities. The ministry also oversees the operation of the unified call center for consumer complaints, “Bainah,” which helps improve cooperation among government agencies and strengthens consumer rights protection.

The bulletin also detailed the evaluation results of e-stores, with the first phase involving 100 stores assessed based on ten specific criteria. The purpose of this evaluation is to increase compliance rates and help online stores enhance their service quality.

Over the past three months, the Ministry of Commerce handled more than 168,000 commercial complaints. E-stores accounted for the majority of complaints, with contractual disputes and non-compliance issues following closely behind.
