Here’s How to Extend Your Expired Visit Visa to Leave Saudi Arabia, as per Jawazat
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia has outlined the steps to take advantage of the initiative that allows for the extension of expired visit visas, regardless of their type or name, to facilitate final departure. Recommend: Big changes to visa rules in Saudi Arabia
The initiative allows visitors to extend expired visit visas of various types and names for their final departure after paying the required fees and fines stipulated by the system.
The Saudi Jawazat stated, through its account on the “X” platform, that the specified period for the initiative's duration is 30 days, starting on 1st Muharram 1447 AH.
Applicants can benefit from this initiative during the specified period by submitting their application through the Tawasul service on the Ministry of Interior's Absher e-services platform.

Steps to submit a request to extend an expired visit visa for the purpose of departure:
1. Log in to your Absher account and verify the OTP received on your mobile phone.
2. Select "My Services," then click on "Passports."
3. Choose the "Tawasul" service and click on "New Request."
4. Select "Extend an expired visit visa for the purpose of departing" from the last option available in the menu box.
5. Click the requesting service location.
6. Select the beneficiary type that matches you from Personal Request, Dependent Request, Visitor Request, Resident Request, or Establishment Request.
7. Click on "Next."
8. On the next page, select the name of the visitor, write a description, and attach your document.
