Cold wave expected in Saudi Arabia this week
Starting this Saturday, temperatures in some parts of Saudi Arabia may drop to below freezing, according to Thursday's announcement from the National Center of Meteorology. Trending: Riyadh tops in the list of region wise resolving labor cases
From today until Friday, January 3, the northern regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, Hail, and the Madinah region will suffer from these cold weather conditions.
From Sunday through Tuesday, a cold front moved across the Northern Borders, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Hail, bringing with it temperatures as low as -4 degrees.
Hussein Al-Qahtani, spokesman of the National Center of Meteorology, rejected on Wednesday rumors that the regions of the Kingdom will be exposed to the biggest cold wave since winter began during the next week. The dismissal is notable. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Linkedin
