Saudi Crown Prince at G20 Summit in New Delhi, India

Earlier this, The Royal Court in Saudi Arabia had issued a statement stating that, based on the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, left for India on 9th September 2023, to head the Kingdom's delegation participating in the G20 leaders Summit, which will be held in New Delhi, India and to pay an official visit to the Republic of India.

- The statement also said that, "This is in response to the invitation sent by the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, to discuss bilateral relations, discuss issues of common interest, and hold a meeting of the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council". - Saudi Arabia and India are likely to arrange significant meetings outside of the G20 conference that reflect their respective domestic objectives. Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Bin Salman will take over the exchanges.

- The Saudi Crown Prince will attend the G20 summit this weekend and stay on for a state visit on September 11 during which he is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu. There are also some talks that Saudi Arabia and India are in discussions with the US and the UAE for an infrastructure linking project in the context of the G20 conference.

- Several other world leaders, including Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, US President Joe Biden, and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, came on Friday for the G20 Summit. Recommend : Saudi Arabia announces foundation of Global Water Ogranization
