The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia confirmed that sudden use of the brakes without necessity is a traffic violation in the Kingdom. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Linkedin







Saudi Moroor through its official Twitter handle explained that, the sudden use of the brakes prevents vehicles traveling behind the car which is suddenly stopped after taking quick action of sudden brake, which could leads to accidents.

- The Saudi Traffic department highlighted that the financial fine for suddenly using the brakes without any emergency is between 300 to 500 Saudi riyals. Most Viewed : Wrong parking or no parking fine in Saudi Arabia

- The Moroor in Saudi Arabia also clarified the method for canceling the complaint submitted in the police department regarding the theft of the vehicle, in case the car is recovered.





- The Traffic department stated that, in this case, he can review the police department and submit his request.

- This came in response from Moroor, after it received an inquiry from one of the user, who submitted a report regarding the theft of a vehicle and received it a week after the report, inquiring about the method of canceling the complaint. - Earlier this, The General Directorate of Traffic warned against dodging between vehicles, as the quickly dodging between vehicles confuses road users and puts them at risk of traffic accidents. This is the violation of traffic regulations, it also leads to an increase in difficulty of controlling the vehicle and increase the incidence of accidents.
