MOFA announces the procedure for obtaining a Personal Visit Visa to enter into Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Saudi Arabia announced the procedure for obtaining a personal visit visa, which allows visitors to enter into the Kingdom to visit their friends or contacts who are Saudi nationals. - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that applying for the personal visit visa will be easy and convenient as this mechanism is online now at MOFA website.
- The Ministry explained that Saudi citizens can invite their friends to visit Saudi Arabia and perform Umrah by submitting a personal visit request on the visa platform of the MOFA and applying for a visit request, by serving individuals on the platform and logging in through the Unified National Access platform, by filling out the required information.
- Inviting them by requesting a personal visit and approving the necessary undertakings, after which the request is processed and a personal visit visa document will be issued, whose data can be reviewed through the invitation request query service at MOFA website. - The Ministry added that the person invited to visit can complete the process of paying fees and medical insurance after filling out the 'entry visa application' form in the visa platform and then submitting the application to Jawazat or embassy or consulate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the guest country to through the centers or agents accredited to the embassy or Consulate, then receive the passport after issuing the entry visa and come to Saudi Arabia by air, land or sea ports.

- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also highlighted that it is possible to inquire about the submitted applications by entering the visa platform, selecting the inquiry icon, filing the required data, then clicking on inquiry to review the previously submitted applications.
