Dropping the sponsorship of Domestic worker automatically, after 6 months of re-entry visa expiry
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia revealed a method of dropping sponsorship of domestic workers, with the aim of bringing in an alternative. Recommend : 5 conditions for reporting Huroob on domestic workers through Absher
Saudi Jawazat received a question on its official Twitter handle from one of the sponsor, who asked, "My female domestic workers took Exit Re-entry visa and did not return, I want to get a new visa, while my first domestic worker is still on my sponsorship". - Responding it to the sponsor, Saudi passports department said that, "The domestic worker is automatically removed from the sponsored list, if the domestic worker did not return on exit re-entry visa, 6 months after the expiry of re-entry visa".
- Saudi Jawazat also stated that the re-entry visa can also be dropped by communicating through Tawasul service available in the e-services of the Absher platform, after 30 days of the visa expiry.
