Riyadh police arrested Expat gang for robbing Bank customers at gunpoint


The Riyadh police in Saudi Arabia have arrested a gang of expats who are accused of robbing bank customers at gunpoint, the Ministry of Interior has announced. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Google News







According to the Ministry, the arrested men were of different nationalities, Ethiopian, Syrian and Bangladeshi. Five of the Ethiopians has sneaked into the country violating the Kingdom's borders. See Also : GCC expat professions, who are not eligible for Saudi Tourist visa online

- The five Ethiopians looted the bank customers at the gunpoint and stole all the money they had. The Ministry said that it also arrested 4 people of Ethiopian and Syrian nationalities and 2 Bangladeshi nationals for harboring the violators and providing them SIM cards.





- The Ministry further said that, the arrested people used 4 stolen vehicles, confirming that the cars were recovered. The Ministry also seized 387 SIM cards and weapons from the suspects.

- The Riyadh police referred the men to the Public Prosecution after taking preliminary legal measures against them, reported Saudi Gazette. Recommend : MHRSD allows job transfer of expat workers in all private companies
