A royal order issued to allocate 20 billion riyals to face the effects of rising Global prices


The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued an order, based on what was submitted by Crown Prince, to approve the allocation of 20 billion riyals to face the effects of the rise in global prices, including 10.4 billion for beneficiaries of social security and the Citizen Account Program, and the program to support small livestock keepers, with the rest of amount allocated to increase strategic stocks of basic materials and ensure their availability. 1. Allocating an amount of 2 billion riyals to disburse an additional one time pension to those entitled to social security for the current fiscal year 1443-1444 AH (2022).

2. Re-opening the registration of Citizen Account Program, as per the previous announced regulations. Trending : Assaulting a security men while performing his duty during Hajj requires criminal accountability

3. Allocating an amount of 8 billion riyals as additional financial support to the beneficiaries of Citizen Account Program for the end of current fiscal year, as per the previously announced controls.

4. Allocating an amount of 408 million riyals as financial support to the beneficiaries of small livestock breeders program.





Earlier this, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, Mohammed bin Salman confirmed that the leadership of Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to sensing the needs of citizens in the Kingdom.

- During the meeting he chaired at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah, He confirmed that the Saudi Arabia's leadership is looking at the needs of citizens in facing the international inflation and what has resulted in an increase in the prices of some basic commodities and products. - Crown Prince highlighted the needy citizens are taken into account in facing international developments, which have resulted in the rise of costs of basic commodities, pointing to the important role played by the relevant ministries and government agencies to monitor international developments and the availability of products and to monitor markets and prices.




- The meeting reviewed a number of economic and development issues, including the offer submitted by the Ministry of Commerce, in conjunction with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the Ministry of Economy and Planning regarding monitoring price levels for a number of products in the Kingdom's markets.
