The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia restated that the benefit of splitting iqama fees does not apply to domestic workers and the similar. Join Saudi Expatriates channel on imo messenger







This came in response to an inquiry received by Jawazat through its official Twitter account, in which one of the worker asked, Is it possible to renew the iqama of a private driver for a period of 3 months?

- The Saudi Jawazat added that, allowing the issuance and renewal of iqamas (residence permits) related to work permits is done on a quarterly basis, every 3 months as a minimum. Recommend : It is not possible to convert exit re-entry visa into final exit in this case

- Jawazat further clarified that it excludes domestic workers and the similar workers, the division of paying the fee of the work permit, iqama, the financial compensation and the fees required to get the mentioned iqamas, according to the period of residence permit.





- The General Directorate of Passports had called on citizens who wish to travel outside the Kingdom in the coming days to make sure that health requirements are met. See Also : Saudi Arabia bans its citizens from traveling to these 16 countries

- Jawazat added that the health requirements of the country to which you want to travel must be checked, and that what is issued by the competent authorities should be followed up.
