No entry into the Holy city Makkah without Permit, Starting Thursday - Saudi Public Security


The Public Security in Saudi Arabia announced that, starting from Thursday (25/10/1443), residents who do not have an entry permit will be prevented at the security control centers leading to the Holy Capital Makkah. Join Jeddah Expatriates Whatsapp group







The Public Security spokesperson, Brigadier General Sami bin Mohammad Al-Shuwairekh explained that, this is in implementation of the instructions regulating the Hajj pilgrimage, which requires the people wishing to enter the Holy Capital Makkah must get a permit from competent authorities. - Al-Shuwairekh added that the instructions regulating the Hajj this year 1443 will be applied to return vehicles and residents to where they came from, except for those who have one of the following documents.





* An entry permit to work in the holy sites issued by the competent authority.

* A resident identity card (iqama) issued in Makkah.

* An Umrah permit and


- and this will remain enforced until the end of the Hajj Season 1443.
