GACA issues new Guide for Travelers as Saudi Arabia resumes International flights


The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia issued an updated guide for travelers, including previously applied procedures in addition to new preventive measures, with the resumption of international flights Today.



The GACA new advisory for Travelers highlighted several new procedures :

1. The Tawakkalna app is must in requirement upon the entry into the Kingdom airport.

3. Entry to the airport is restricted to those who carry travel tickets, except for those accompanying with disabilities.

6. Warning to those travelers whose temperature exceeds 38 degrees Celsius, as they will be prevented from entering the airport.

8 . Commitment to board planes as per the seats allocated by airlines, and to apply physical distancing among fellow passengers.

9. Aircrews and passengers inside planes must wear face masks and hand gloves throughout the flight and maintain social distancing as much as possible while providing meals and other services.

10. Closure of the prayer area in the plane if any, as well as continuing to apply Precautionary measures after every trip.

11. The updated guide touched upon on the measures taken when there is a suspected case of infection with Covid-19 virus.

- The authority calls for allocating some seats as a quarantine area to deal with potential emergencies during the flight, appointing a crew member to deal with the patient and limiting the movement of that passenger as much as possible.
