Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) clarifies on a case of Canceling Visitor's Health Insurance


The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) in Saudi Arabia clarified that the insured visitor has no right to cancel the insurance policy except in one case, which is that, he does not enter the Kingdom.

In response to an inquiry from one of the residents in this regard, The Cooperative Council via its Twitter stated that, "the insured Visitor has no right to cancel the insurance, whenever it comes into effect, except in the event that he does not enter the Kingdom."

- On the other hand, the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance clarified that the employer is obligated to insure all his employees (Saudis / Expatriates) and their family members who are covered by the system (wives, male children up to the age of 25 years and unmarried daughters who are not working) and the worker is considered eligible for insurance from the date of joining the work. Recommend : New employer is responsible to insure employee and his family members
