India suspends all International flights for a week from 8 PM of March 22

India suspends all international commercial flights entries for 1 week, starting from 8 PM of 22nd March 2020, as part of its strategy to limit the spread of Covid-19 pandemic in the country announced the Indian government.




The government also said that it has suspended issuing of the majority of visas and it will shut down all concessional trains and civil aviation excluding those affecting students, patients and divyang quota.

- Before this week, India stopped the entry of flights from Europe, UK, Turkey, Afghanistan, Malaysia and the Philippines. On March 21, India evacuated its citizens from Rome using Air India.




- More than 11,000 people have died due to Coronavirus all over the world, with infected cases of more than 276,000 as per the latest reports, Most of the countries restricted its borders to foreigners as a precautionary measure.

- Total positive cases of coronavirus infection in India raised to 341 with 6 deaths as of Today, The Prime Minister of the India calls everyone to stay in home with family, watch television and eat good food with the announcement of Janata Curfew against the spread of Covid-19.
