HIV TEST COMPULSORY BEFORE RENEWING IQAMA OF 10 COUNTRIES EXPATS

As per one of the article in Madinah newspaper, From now on wards 10 countries Expatriates living in Saudi Arabia must go for HIV blood testing before they renew their Iqamas or residence permits of the Kingdom.




It also said in the newspaper, The Ministry of Health issued a mandatory measure of HIV blood testing before the Iqama renewal for expatriates from countries like Sudan, Ethopia, Kenya, Somalia, Thailand, Nepal, Nigeria, Vietnam, Dijbouti and Eritrea.

- The Ministry of Health also made compulsory to have hepatitis vaccination for expatriate workers in professions like barbers, domestic workers, drivers, health employees, convalescence outlets and social care facilities.
