Air India Express Launches Direct Flights from Bengaluru to Jeddah, Riyadh & Kuwait



Air India Express has added new direct international flights from Bengaluru to Jeddah, Riyadh, and Kuwait, giving travelers from South India more options to fly to the Middle East. Trending: Saudi TGA cracks down on illegal taxis; 606 caught

Flight start dates:

✅ Bengaluru to Jeddah: starts October 26, 2025

✅ Bengaluru to Riyadh and Kuwait: start October 27, 2025

These new routes will benefit Indian expatriates, business travelers, and passengers visiting family or performing Umrah.

Introductory one-way fares:

➤ Bengaluru → Riyadh: from 570 SAR (₹13,500)

➤ Bengaluru → Jeddah: from 825 SAR (₹19,500)

➤ Bengaluru → Kuwait: from 575 SAR (₹13,600)

This launch is part of Air India Express’ expansion in Bengaluru, which is now its largest hub. Recently, the airline started flights to Kathmandu, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun and plans to begin new routes to Bangkok (October 18, 2025) and Jodhpur and Udaipur (November 1, 2025).

Travellers from nearby South Indian cities like Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Mangaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram can easily connect through Bengaluru to reach these new Middle East destinations.

Air India Express now flies straight from Bengaluru to 35 domestic and 7 overseas destinations. The airline has more than 440 flights a week from Bengaluru. The Tata Group owns the airline, which has 115 planes and flies more than 500 times a day to and from India and other countries.
