Saudi Arabia Urges Global Action to Stop Gaza Crisis, Backs Two-State Solution

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza, accusing it of deliberately causing hunger, using extreme violence, and trying to remove Palestinians from their land.

In a statement on Friday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Israel’s actions show complete disregard for the Palestinians’ deep historical, emotional, and legal connection to the land, as well as their rightful claim to it under international law and humanitarian principles. The Kingdom warned that the failure of the international community and the UN Security Council to stop Israel’s attacks could damage the global order, threaten peace in the region and the world, and lead to disastrous consequences, including genocide and forced displacement.

Saudi Arabia called for strong and decisive action from the world to stop the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and to push forward the two-state solution. This would mean creating an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with UN resolutions.
