31 Arab and Islamic Nations Unite to Condemn Netanyahu’s “Greater Israel” Remarks

Foreign ministers from 31 Arab and Islamic countries, along with leaders of three regional organizations, released a joint statement condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent comments about “Greater Israel.” They said his remarks violate international law and threaten peace and stability in the region and the world.

The statement also condemned Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich for approving settlement expansion in the sensitive E1 area and rejecting a Palestinian state. Ministers said these actions go against UN resolutions, especially Security Council Resolution 2334, and endanger the two-state solution. They warned that continued settlement expansion, attacks on Palestinian cities and refugee camps, and violations of Muslim and Christian holy sites—especially Al-Aqsa Mosque—are raising tensions and destroying chances for peace.

The ministers rejected any forced displacement of Palestinians and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. They demanded an end to the blockade and full humanitarian access, describing the current situation as deliberate starvation and genocide.

The statement stressed that Gaza is part of the occupied Palestinian territories. It called for the Palestinian Authority to govern Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem under one legal and political system with Arab and international support.

The ministers urged the international community, especially the UN Security Council and the United States, to take responsibility by holding Israel accountable, protecting Palestinians, and supporting their right to self-determination and an independent state.
