The research states that in the first quarter of 2025, foreign visitor visits to the Kingdom ranked third globally, second in the Middle East, and second in comparison to the first quarter of 2019.

The kingdom's position as a prominent global and regional tourist destination was further solidified in the first quarter of 2025, when international visitor arrivals increased by 102% compared to the same period in 2019.

The growth rate exceeded both the global average of 3% and the Middle East average of 44%.

The fact that the kingdom is currently ranked first in global tourist metrics shows that its efforts to expand the industry are paying off and that it is making steady progress toward the ambitious targets set out by Saudi Vision 2030.
