Saudi Arabia Reveals Latest Population Figures on World Population Day


The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reported that the overall population of Saudi Arabia reached 35,300,280 (35.3 million) in the year 2024, which was released on World Population Day (11th July 2025). Saudi nationals account for 55.6% of the entire population, which is approximately 19.6 million Saudi citizens, while non-Saudis (expatriates or foreigners) make up 44.4% (nearly 15.67 million).

The data also show an enormous gap between the genders, with men making up 62.1% (about 21.92 million) of the overall population and females at 37.9%, which is approximately 13.37 million.

The majority of the population consists of adults aged 15–64, with 74.7%, or approximately 26.37 million people, while a small percentage of the population consists of children aged 0–14 (7.94 million), or 22.5 percent. The demographic structure reflects a civilization that is largely young and productive.

The GASTAT report titled "Saudi Arabia's Population Figures and Sustainable Impact" shows the kingdom's potential in terms of its population.
