In each case, the violating parties failed to supply transportation in accordance with the conditions specified in the companies' authorized service programs.

Therefore, in order to provide alternative transportation options for the impacted pilgrims, the ministry has put a stop to the operations of the companies that violated the rules and has liquidated their bank guarantees.

The ministry stressed that the goal of these steps is to protect pilgrims' rights and maintain services at acceptable standards. Recommend: Penalty for violating midday work ban in KSA

Reiterating the importance of tight compliance to official rules and contractual commitments, the ministry is part of a larger effort to improve service quality for pilgrims and tourists to the Prophet’s Mosque.
