New Umrah season begins in Saudi Arabia after the end of Hajj season

The "Nusuk" app, a centralized digital platform for delivering government services, will begin issuing Umrah permits to international pilgrims from Wednesday, June 11, according to the ministry.
In addition to providing a number of digital services that improve the Umrah pilgrims' experience, the Nusuk app makes it easy for users to book and obtain permits.

Since April 29th, 2025, marked the start of the Hajj season, Saudi Arabia had already announced that it would no longer be issuing Umrah permits; on the same day, the kingdom had also established April 29th as the final departure date for Umrah pilgrims.
In order to make sure everything runs smoothly and that there is constant progress, the ministry said that operational and technical preparations for the new season had started early in cooperation with the appropriate authorities.
It also highlighted the continuous efforts to enhance digital and awareness services in many languages and to ensure the greatest degree of security and comfort for Umrah pilgrims, highlighting the Kingdom's prominent role in accommodating visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
