Seventy percent of households with two or more individuals were comprised of nuclear families, while 16 percent consisted of combined and extended families. 14 percent of the entire population lived in homes consisting of a single person.
There were approximately five people living in Saudi households on average, according to reports. 13.5 percent of the total population was comprised of households with six members, whereas 12.8 percent was comprised of households with four or five people. In terms of household leadership, the data showed that men are in charge of 83.1 percent of Saudi households, while women are in charge of 16.9 percent.
The age group of 35–39 years old had the largest percentage of male heads of household (17.6%), while the age group of 30–34 years old had the highest percentage of female heads of family (14.3%).
When it comes to the types of housing that Saudi households have, flats make up 44.9% of the population, while villas are home to 31.1% .
Of the households consisting of a single person, 55.8 percent reside in apartments, while 16.2 percent live in villas.
