Employment in Saudi Arabia's private sector tops with 11,370,000 in May 2024
The Saudi labor market for May 2024 has been thoroughly documented in a study released by the National Labor Observatory (NLO). There has been continuous employment creation in the private sector, as the study highlights that the overall number of workers has risen to reach 11,370,796. The data shows that, a total of 9,012,569 people, including 8,641,249 men and 371,320 females, were Saudi Expatriates. While a total of 2,358,227 Saudi citizens were employed in the private sector in May, with 1,386,904 men and 971,323 women.
- According to the report, 30,881 Saudi citizens entered the private sector for the first time in May 2024, contributing to a net increase in Saudi jobs.
