Akasa Air to operate regular flights between Saudi Arabia and India
Akasa Air of India will now be allowed to regularly transport passengers between Saudi Arabia and India, according to an announcement made by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Trending : One visa to travel between GCC countries soon
Indian carrier Akasa Air is adding Saudi Arabia as a second foreign destination to its route map, following its March international debut with flights to Qatar.
- Flights to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport are now available for reservation via the airline, which operates flights from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Two flights per week will depart from Ahmedabad and twelve flights per week will depart from Mumbai, bringing the total number of weekly flights to fourteen, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). These flights will begin on Saturday, June 8. Most Viewed : How to check and download Saudi visa
- From Mumbai, you can take one of seven weekly flights to Riyadh beginning July 4.
- Akasa currently runs four flights weekly between Mumbai and Qatar's Hamad International Airport, but these new services will add to that route.
