Eid Al-Fitr 2023 is most likely to fall on 21st April in Saudi Arabia and Islamic countries


According to the International Astronomical Center, the crescent of Shawwal will likely be visible in Islamic nations on Thursday, April 20, marking the end of Ramadan. This means the first day of Eid Al-Fitr likely be on 21st April 2023, Friday. Read : Avoid sleep disturbances in Ramadan







Although it's likely that some Islamic nations may be able to see the crescent, it may not be possible to see it with the naked eyes or a telescope from all parts of Asia and Australia.

- Eid Al Fitr, which represents the conclusion of a month-long time of fasting and spiritual reflection for Muslims worldwide, is, however, decided after the sighting of the crescent moon of Shawwal on 29th or 30th Ramadan.
