Boundaries of the Makkah Grand Mosque (Masjid Al-Haram)


The Grand Mosque's boundaries in Makkah were shown on an illustration map by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia. It was said that worshipping within these bounds has the same merit as praying within the Grand Mosque (Masjid Al-Haram). The Sayyidah Ayesha Mosque, located 5 kilometers to the north of the Grand Mosque, and the Arafah, located 20 kilometers south of the Grand Mosque (13 km southward of Crown Prince district), were the locations of the borders, according to the map.

The Ministry indicated the extension of the Grand Mosque of Makkah's limits in the west of the Al-Hudaibiyah district (Al-Shumaisi) at a distance of 18 km and in the east of Jafranah at a distance of 14.5 km (10 km of the Al-Sharai district). - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah praised the pilgrims who offered their prayers in peace and comfort in the mosques that are situated inside the limits of Makkah's Grand Mosque, not just because of the Grand Mosque itself but also because of its size.
