Important information for traveling to Qatar from Saudi Arabia to attend FIFA World Cup 2022


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia revealed the important information for those who wants to travel to Qatar to attend the FIFA World Cup 2022. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Linkedin







Saudi Jawazat through its official handle highlighted that, * Make sure to obtain a Haya card with the passport number registered through Haya platform. Read : Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport Terminal 3 and 4 launched

* Your passport must have a validity of more than 3 months for Saudi nationals and 6 months for the GCC citizens, with the need to obtain a Haya card and make sure it is effective before traveling.

* The applicant passport must be free of damage.

* The passport information must be valid with a clear photograph.





- The Jawazat highlighted the suspension of travel with the national identity of Qatar until the end of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. - The Passports department pointed out that Saudi nationals, resident expatriates and tourists wishing to travel to Qatar to attend World Cup and its events must have a Haya card. One can contact the Unified Security Operations Center (911) to find out the relevant instructions and all beneficiaries can visit the website of the unified platform at HereForYou.sa, which aims to provide the necessary information, to make sure the smoothness of their journey from inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
