Hajj Ministry reveals 4 cases covered under Umrah health Insurance policy
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia revealed 4 cases which can be covered by the Umrah Insurance policy for those who entered the Kingdom on Umrah visa from abroad, and the benefit of insurance is up to 100,000 riyals. Related : Check Umrah insurance validity online
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stated the 4 cases that covered by Umrah Insurance policy are
1. Emergency cases of Covi-19 (Corona virus)
2. Emergency Health cases.
3. General accidents and deaths.
4. Cancelation or delay of departing flights. Similar : Airlines compensation for lost, delay or damage of luggage
- The Ministry clarified that Umrah insurance policy is must for pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting that it is included in the visa fee, as it provides its holders with comprehensive coverage.
- Earlier this, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed that over 2 million Umrah visas have been issued for the people of 176 countries in the world in less than 3 months, since the beginning of the Umrah season this year from 1st Muharram 1444. Most Viewed : Mahram is no more required to accompany a woman pilgrim to perform Umrah or Hajj
- According to a report, most of the pilgrims coming from Indonesia, Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia, India and Azerbaijan. In the coming days, the numbers of Umrah visas are expected to increase from the different parts of the world.
