Saudi Supreme Court calls to sight Dhu Al-Hijjah crescent on Wednesday


The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia called on all Muslims throughout the Kingdom to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah on Wednesday, 29th June 2022 (30th Dhu Al-Qadah, 1443 AH). Read : Longest walkway in the world connecting holy sites in Makkah







The Supreme Court called upon anyone who sees the crescent with the naked eye or through binoculars, inform the nearest court to register his testimony there, or contact the nearest center to help him to reach the nearest court.

- The Court said those who have the ability to deviate to pay attention to this matter, and to join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, and to calculate the reward by participating because of the cooperation in it in righteousness and piety for the benefit of all Muslims. - According to the International Astronomy Center Saturday, 9th July 2022 will be the first day of Eid Al-Adha in many countries in the world.





- Engineer Mohammed Shwkat Odeh, the Director fo the International Astronomy Center said that most Islamic countries began the month of Dhu Al-Qadah on Wednesday, 1st June 2022, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Egypt and accordingly, the crescent of the month Dhu Al-Hijjah will be investigated on Wednesday, 29th June 2022.
