Saudi Supreme Court announced Thursday is the 1st day of Dhu Al-Hijjah month, Arafat on 8th July and Eid Al-Adha on 9th July 2022


The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia announced that Thursday is the first day of Dhu Al-Hijjah month and hence the standing day in Arafat will be on Friday, 8th July 2022. See Also : Fasting on the day of Arafat expiates sins of previous and following year







As the Arafat day will be on Friday (8th July) of this Hajj, Eid Al-Adha to be celebrated on Saturday, 9th July 2022 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- Just before the announcement from Supreme Court, it was confirmed that the crescent of month Dhu Al-Hijjah was sighted at the Tamir Observatory, so Tomorrow (30th June 2022) will be the first day of Dhu Al-Hijjah month and Eid Al-Adha falls on Saturday (9th July 2022). - Today (29th June), A number of committees also announced the sighting of the crescent of Dhu Al-Hijjah month and Thursday will be the first day of Dhu-Al-Hijjah month.

- Earlier this, The Supreme Court had called on all Muslims in all parts of the Kingdom to investigate the sighting of crescent of month Dhu Al-Hijjah on Today's evening, after the 30th of the month of Dhu Al-Qadah month of this year. Recommend : Few interesting facts of Hajj pilgrimage
