Qiwa platform allows Companies to correct Driver professions for free of charge
The Qiwa platform of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia asked companies and establishments to correct some professions like profession of driver of which the specifications are not mentioned for free of charge. As per the new amendments, the company is required to choose a driver in one of the following specific activities, Private Car, Taxi, Ambulance, Locomotive, Train, Metro, Motorcycle, Car, Mini Truck, Valet Parking, Bus, Tram, Heavy Truck, Gas Truck, Trailer Truck, Cement mixer, Garbage truck, Farm tractor, heavy equipment and forklift.
- Qiwa platform has canceled the professions of Doctor, Expert, Specialist, Engineer, Specialized expert, worker, ordinary worker and control technician. See Also : No need of expat worker's consent to change these 8 professions
- The platform said that these professions can be placed in specialized professions to the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations. The amendment will be limited to the Qiwa platform for the workers of companies only, and not to platform or individuals, according to a report of Saudi Gazette.
- Qiwa platform also stated that the approval of the employee is required in order to change the profession and the fee of changing the profession is 2,000 riyals.
- However, there is an exemption in the payment for changing professions for 8 professions of which the change is considered as correction of professions, which have been canceled. Recommend : Delaying the salary payment of a worker is a violation and this is how one can report it
- The change of these professions under correction is possible only once without fees, and when the worker wants to correct it for a second time, he must choose a profession of which the change of service fee is applicable.
