The undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah Asiri, said that the children's dose of the Corona vaccine will be half than the dose of adults, stating that they will receive the Pfizer vaccine.







Asiri explained that the ministry of health has approved the Pfizer vaccine for the age group 5 to 11 years, and that their dose will be half the adult dose, and they will receive the vaccination in two stages.

- He added that children are infected with covid-19 and most of them have simple symptoms, while only a small group of them develop severe illness and hypnosis, while children's symptoms are safe and there are no symptoms after the vaccine. - Asiri pointed out the need to vaccinate a large number of children, as they are the source of infection for other older age groups.





- A professor of pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Dr. Noor Baghdadi, said that the vaccination of children against corona virus will be in smaller doses than the doses received by adults. - During her interview with Al Arabiya for "Nashra Al-Rabaa" program, Dr. Baghdadi said that the vaccination dose for children is not completely different, but it is much simpler.
