Saudi Arabia starts issuing Umrah visas for India, Pakistan and Egypt Pilgrims


The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia announced that it is now issuing Umrah visas for India, Pakistan and Egypt, stating that pilgrims from these countries can now enter to the Kingdom directly. Download Saudi Expatriates app







People who received both doses of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covishield, SK, Bioscience or one dose of Johnson and Johnson corona vaccine need not to go quarantine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- People who received two doses of Sinopharm, Sinovac with an additional dose of Saudi approved vaccine will also not need to quarantine. But those who took only 1 dose of 2 doses vaccines have to stay in quarantine in Kingdom for 5 days. Related : Saudi Arabia approved 4 vaccines for the purpose of Visit, including Hajj and Umrah

- However, those who are vaccinated with 2 doses of Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin will have to quarantine for 3 days and take a PCR test 48 hours after arriving in the Kingdom.





- Earlier this, The Ministry of Health announced that it will also allow people who are vaccinated with 2 doses of Sputnik vaccine from 1st January and they will have to quarantine for 3 days and take a PCR test 48 hours after arriving into Saudi Arabia.

- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also announced that, it has started allowing individuals of 12 years and above from any part of the world to get Umrah permit, Prayers in Masjid Al-Haram, Prayers in Rawdah Al-Sharif and Ziyara as long as they are 'Immune' as per their Tawakkalna status.
