Saudi authorities increases Haramain Express train trips to 16 in a Day


The Haramain Railways in Saudi Arabia have added multiple trips of a high-speed train between the holy cities of Makkah and Madina to 16 journeys in a day, as per the local newspaper of the Kingdom.







The increase in train journeys includes 8 daily trips from the Red Sea city of Jeddah to each Makkah and Madina, starting from 8th December, this step has taken due to the increase in reservations. Trending : Rate of vaccination in Saudi Arabia reached 94%  for the above 12 years of age

- This increase comes after the high demand of the services between the two holy cities via Sulaimaniah station in Jeddah, The increase will be carried out gradually to 16 trips per day, in order to keep pace with high demand for trips.

- The Haramain High-Speed Train was inaugurated in 2018 for 450 Km long service led by Saudi youth as well as service crews at the stations and inside the trains, between 5 stations of Makkah, Jeddah, King AbdulAziz International Airport, King Abdullah Economic city and Madina.
