Jawazat clarified on issuing Final Exit visa, while the Iqama is still valid for 10 months


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia clarified about the validity period of the final exit visa. After they received a question on its official Twitter handle.







In his question the beneficiary asked, "I want to go for a Final Exit, and the remaining period in my iqama is 10 months, can I make Final Exit?".

- Saudi Jawazat through its official Twitter replied stating, "The validity of Final Exit visa is 60 days from the date of issuance, during this period departure of the visa holder is must, without reference to the validity of his iqama (resident id)". - The Jawazat further added that, "The instructions require the validity of the iqama (resident identity), in order to issue a final exit visa".





- Earlier this, Jawazat in the Kingdom has clarified on the possibility of traveling outside Saudi Arabia, while the passport is about to expire in 2 months, after one of the beneficiary inquired.

- To which, the Saudi Jawazat confirmed that the instructions require the validity of the Saudi passport to be at least 3 months while traveling to Arab countries, and 6 months for the rest of the countries to be allowed to travel.
