Saudi Arabia administered 313,350 booster (3rd) doses of Corona vaccine, Over 46.79 million doses administered so far
The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced 38 new corona infections, 55 recoveries and 3 deaths recorded in the past 24 hours, raising the total infection in the Kingdom to 549,260 of which 538,329 recovered while 8,816 people left this world due to the complications with the corona virus. Corona active cases in the Kingdom falls to 2,115 of which 49 cases are critical, decreasing 3 critical cases since Yesterday. Jeddah tops in active corona infections with 272, Riyadh with 157, while Makkah has 90 active corona cases.
- In the last 24 hours, The Ministry of Health has performed 36,678 corona tests, so far 30,863,762 covid-19 tests performed in the Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic in the country. Trending : 14,932 illegal expatriates arrested in Saudi Arabia within one week
- The Ministry announces it has administered over 46.79 million (46,790,237) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, of which 313,350 people received 3rd dose (Booster dose).
- While more than 22 million (22,051,533) people received 2nd dose and 24.42 million (24,425,354) people received only one dose and the elderly people received 1,711,247 doses of vaccine against Corona virus.
- The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, said that the measures taken by the Kingdom prevented the return of other waves of the virus, highlighting the continuation of commitment to preventive measures. - Al-Abdali added that there are two anti-Coronavirus vaccines, which are approved for the third booster dose in the Kingdom, they are “Pfizer” and “Moderna.”
