Pfizer BioNTech - We will issue modified vaccines against Omicron in 100 days, if its current vaccine is ineffective against it


Pfizer BioNTech announced that they are collecting all the required information about the “Omicron” variant caused by the Corona virus (Covid-19), to inspect the possibility of modifying our vaccines. "We will be able to export modified vaccines against the new variant within 100 days," Pfizer BioNTech added. Pfizer spokesman said, we expects to know within 2 weeks, whether the variant is resistant to our current vaccine or may require any adjustment in it.

- Moderna said it plans to test a variant-specific booster in cases its current vaccine is found to be ineffective against Omicron.
