Ministry of Health again recommends wearing a Face mask in these places
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia restated the importance of mask in closed places and crowded public places as it is the simplest and safest option, and advised to wear it to protect against infectious viruses. The Ministry of Health called everyone for wearing a face mask in order to preserve the health of the individual person and the health of those around him from infection with infectious viruses, especially the Corona virus (Covid-19).
- This comes after the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the new variant of corona virus 'Omicron' as 'strain of concern', as it is the most contagious among all other virus mutations that have appeared so far. Recommend : Saudi Arabia suspends international flights to and from 7 countries
- Today (On 27th November), Saudi Arabia reported 29 new corona cases, 40 new recoveries and 2 deaths, bringing up the total corona infections in the Kingdom to 549,671 of which 538,824 recovered with 8,832 deaths.
- Active cases of Corona infections in the Kingdom falls to 2,015 in which 44 cases are critical and are in intensive cares. Jeddah tops in the list of active cases with 234, Riyadh with 113, Makkah with 103, Madina with 99, while Yanbu has 69 active corona cases.
- Saudi Arabia has provided more than 47.28 million (47,288,718) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers, Of which 345,633 are booster doses, while the elderly people received 1,717,851 doses.
- The Ministry also reports over 22.36 million (22,368,120) people received two doses of the corona vaccine and more than 24.57 million people received only one dose of the vaccine against corona virus. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Linkedin
