8 people injured and a plane damaged after the 2nd drone attack from Houthi Militia on Abha International airport


The Arab Coalition spokesperson in Saudi Arabia, General Turki Al-Maliki revealed that 8 people were injured and a civilian plane damaged after preventing an explosive-laden drone launched towards Abha International Airport, in its second attempt this morning.




The Arab Coalition said, in a statement that the targeting operation came after careful intelligence monitoring of the launch site of the two drones that tried to target civilian travelers at Abha International Airport this morning.

- A Bangladeshi worker is in critical condition, while 2 Indian nationals and another Bangladeshi worker were in moderate risk. Another 3 expats (1 Bangladeshi, 1 Nepali and 1 Indian) and 1 Saudi citizen have sustained minor injuries. Trending : CITC launches free Local Roaming service in Saudi Arabia

- This was the Houthi's second attack on Abha International Airport in 24 hours.


- These acts confirm the hostile nature of the Houthi Militia, and its transgressions against the customary International Humanitarian Law, under which Abha International Airport is considered a Civilian Object protected by the international humanitarian law, added Al-Maliki.
