Bahrain removed India, Pakistan & 2 other countries from its Red list and added 5 new countries to it


The Civil Aviation Affairs in Bahrain announced that India, Pakistan, Panama and Dominican Republic has been removed from the Red list countries and moved out of the list as part of revised rules that comes into effect from 3rd September 2021. Starting from Friday (Sept. 3rd), five countries will be added to Bahrain's red list countries and they are, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Slovenia, Ethiopia, Costa Rica and Ecuador.

- After the new update, the Red-list countries as per the Bahrain authorities are Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Malaysia, Myanmar, Tunisia, Georgian, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Slovenia, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam, Mongolia, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ukraine, Mozambique, Namibia, Mexico and Malawi. - The modifications in the red-list countries will be made after the assessment of the national medical team to address the Covid-19, with relevant criteria in terms of the level of the virus spread in the countries, the list will be reviewed and updated periodically.





- The Civil Aviation Affairs also announced the cancellation of PCR test requirement before boarding the plane for fully vaccinated people in countries whose vaccination certificates have been approved, except of those coming from red list countries, where the previous procedures will be continued.

- The Aviation Affairs revealed that the entry of passengers from the red-list countries will continue to be suspended on all flights, including those coming from these countries who will enter the Kingdom temporarily, except Bahraini citizens, resident visa holders of Bahrain.
