Ministry of Health reveals 4 facts about Delta variant, Kingdom's Active Corona cases falls to 3,537
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia revealed 4 facts about the Delta variant of Corona virus, advising everyone, need to take two doses of Corona vaccine to prevent it. Join Saudi Expatriates on Whatsapp
1. Delta variant is more infectious and widespread.

3. Vaccination must be supplemented with 2 doses for protection with delta variant.
4. Recovery from previous infection does not provide enough immunity.
- Today (On 28th August), Saudi Arabia announced 234 new corona infections, 409 recoveries and 6 deaths bringing the total infections in the Kingdom to 543,796 of which 531,733 recovered with 8,526 deaths.
- Active cases of Corona in Saudi Arabia further falls to 3,537 of which 978 are critical and receiving treatment in intensive cares. In the last 24 hours, Saudi Arabia conducted 52,889 Corona tests and so far 27.27 million (27,279,215) Covid-19 tests since the beginning of the pandemic. - As of now, Saudi Arabia's government has provided more than 35.91 million (35,913,679) doses of Corona vaccine to Saudi citizens, resident expats and visitors all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers.
