Health Ministry denies of Canceling the 2nd dose, Clarifies on the possibility of taking 2 different Vaccines


The spokesman of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr.Muhammad Al-AbdAl Aali, denied of what is being said to cancel the second dose of Corona vaccines, highlighting that it was postponed according to the studies and recommendations.



During the press conference held by the ministry, He stated that when the second dose of Corona vaccines resumed, it would be the same type as the first dose, indicating that all vaccines are sufficiently available in Saudi Arabia.

- Studies are continuing on the possibility of receiving two different doses of Corona vaccines, confirming that, So far, this is not the best option, but according to the recommendations, the second dose will be the same as the first dose. - He confirmed that the dates for the second dose of the Corona vaccine will be announced later, and messages will be sent automatically to the beneficiaries.

- Today, The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced 1,067 new Corona infections, 895 new recoveries and 12 new deaths, by which the total number of Covid-19 cases in the Kingdom reached 440,914 of which 424,690 recovered, while 7,249 people lost their lives.

- Currently, Saudi Arabia has 8,975 active corona cases of which 1,344 are critical and in intensive cares.

- Saudi Arabia administered more than 12.8 million (12,852,146) doses of Corona vaccine so far through 587 vaccination centers all over the Kingdom.
