1.5 Million pilgrims, worshipers visit Makkah's Grand Mosque during first 10 days of Blessed Ramadan


The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques managed approximately 1.5 million worshipers and Umrah pilgrims at the Grand Mosque from the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan until the 10th day of it reports Saudi Press Agency.



Makkah Grand Mosque received all the pilgrims and worshipers in accordance with the precautionary measures controls by harnessing the capabilities to provide comfort for pilgrims and worshipers, and applying precautionary measures and physical distancing. - The Director of the General Administration for Crowds and management at the Grand Mosque, Engineer Osama Al-Hujaili, confirmed that the presidency has harnessed its operational capabilities to serve pilgrims during the blessed month of Ramadan.

- This have been done by allocating the parking lot for pilgrims in full and organizing the entry and exit process for all, and creating paths for the elderly and people with disabilities, calling on pilgrims to adhere to the times issued to them through the application of Umrah 'Eatmarna', wearing medical masks, and adhering to physical distance.
